1.   HYUNDAI KONA (Electric Vehicle)



Expected launch date : 22 July 2019
expected price : ₹ 25 lakh

 Kona Electric Range & Powertrain options: Globally, the Kona is offered in two powertrain options: a 100kW (139PS) motor with a 39kWh battery pack and a 150kW (204PS) motor with a 64kWh battery pack. However, in India, the electric compact SUV is expected to be offered with a less powerful 100kW motor to keep prices in check. It can cover around 300km per charge. 

As far as its competition there is no rivals due to lack of electric vehicles in India.

2.Renault Triber


Expected launch date : Aug 2019
Expected price: ₹ 5-7 lakhs 

This is an 7 seater MUV (Multi Utility Vehicle). The vehicle will be based on a CMF-A Platform.
Renault Triber face is similar to renault family face with a wing type nose grille LED strips that underlines the headlamps.

Under the hood, the Triber will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol unit from the Datsun Go. Transmission could be a five-speed manual while the AMT will be offered as an option. The vehicle will compete against  Datsun Go Plus, Mahindra Bolero and the Maruti Suzuki Eeco in India.


3. TATA ALTROZ


Expected launch date : Oct 2019
Expected price : ₹ 5.5 - 8.5 lakhs 

 Tata Altroz has  the Nexon’s 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a power rating of 102PS and 140Nm while mated to a 5-speed manual. Tata is also expected to offer the Altroz with a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (also from the Nexon) as well. An AMT (automated-manual transmission) is also expected to be on offer for both the Nexon-sourced engines.

Altroz is likely to get features like an analogue-digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment system, cruise control and auto climate control with rear AC vents too.

After the launch Tata Altroz has many rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz etc.

4. KIA SELTOS 


Expected launch date : Aug 2019
Expected price :  ₹ 10 - 16 lakh

 The interior of the Kia Seltos is expected to get a floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, personalized ambient lighting, leather-wrapped steering wheel, electronic parking brake, and passenger grab handle. Although the engine option is yet to be announced, it is believed that the Kia Seltos will be powered by the newly-developed 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol and diesel engines that will be available across manual and automatic gearbox options.

After the launch of Kia Seltos it has many rivals such as Toyota Innova Crysta, Hyundai Elantara, Tata Harrier, Tata Hexa, MG Hector, etc.

5. NEW GRAND i10

                            Expected launch date :  Aug 2019
                                                              Expected price :  ₹ 5.5 lakhs

The new hyundai Grand i10 is based on the new platform which will be lighter, more wider, flexible, safer than its old one.The vehicle will also get a new front look with redesigned headlamps and front grille and it will also get a new set of alloy wheels.

 The new Grand i10 will get a touchscreen infotainment system. The vehicle will be offered with standard safety features such as dual front airbags and ABS.

Under the hood, the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 will be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version will continue with the 1.2-litre Kappa engine that develops 81bhp of power and 114Nm, while the diesel version will get the current 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that generates 74bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. Both the variants get the five-speed manual gearbox as standard while the petrol gets the four-speed automatic option.


6. HONDA HR-V


Expected launch date : Oct 2019
Expected price :  ₹ 12 lakhs

 Honda HR-V is based on the same platform as the City and Jazz and measures 4295x1770x1605mm in dimension. The HR-V has a wheelbase of 2610mm and a ground clearance of 180mm. Look wise, the current iteration of the HR-V is a handsome looking car. 

 Inside the HR-V, the dashboard is familiar as seen on other Hondas. The instrument cluster and steering wheel are the same as the one used in the Jazz. The rest of the dashboard is similar to the City and Civic with a familiar infotainment system and centre console. Being a global product, the five-seater is decently loaded in terms of features. 

 The HR-V might get the same 1.8-litre petrol engine. There will also be a diesel – the 120hp 1.6-litre borrowed from the CR-V. All the engines will be compliant to the new BS-VI emission norms.

After the launch of Honda HR-V it has many rivals such as Tata Harrier, Tata Hexa, MG Hector, Mahindra XUV500, Toyota Innova Crysta.


7.  HYUNDAI TUCSON


Expected launch date : Nov 2019
Expected price :  ₹ 18 lakhs

In terms of design, theHyundai Tucson  facelift version will get a new signature cascading grille, LED headlamps with a sleeker design and a chiseled front bumper. While the profile continues to remain the same, it will get a new set of alloy wheels and a tweaked rear bumper.

The new Tucson has a long feature list like cruise control, climate control, with rear AC, sunroof, rear view camera.

As for the powertrains, the current set of engines and gearboxes will continue which means you will get the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engines. While the petrol develops 153bhp of power, the turbo-diesel pumps out 182bhp and both the engines come mated to six-speed manual as well as automatic gearbox options along with the optional all-wheel drive.


8. TATA BUZZARD



Expected launch date :Dec 2019
Expected price : ₹ 18 lakhs

The Tata Buzzard been built on the Land Rover platform and will be slotted in above the Harrier in terms of pricing. The car that was showcased at Geneva has the same design, interior layout, feature list but with two additional seats in the third row.

This platform will be powered by the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel from Fiat that also powers the Jeep Compass. The H5 might come with the 140bhp setup making it one of the most powerful machines in the segment, something that Tata has already done with the Nexon.

After the launch it has many rivals such as jeep compass, hyundai tucson, etc.


9. RENAULT NEW DUSTER 


Expected launch : Jul 2019
Expected price : ₹ 8 lakhs

In new Renault Duster some sporty changes has been done such as there will be a new chrome grille, a set of projector headlamps with LED DRL, and an updated bumper. In profile, it will feature sporty 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while the rear will feature a redesigned tailgate with black applique and revised bumper. 

Inside the new Renault Duster updated infotainment system and and a new trim for the seat will be seen.

After the launch the new renault duster has many rivals such as hyundai creta, nissan kicks, upcoming kia seltos .


10. RENAULT KWID FACELIFT


Expected launch : Sep 2019
Expected price :₹ 3 lakhs 

The new Renault Kwid Facelift is highlighted by the higher-placed sleek LED daytime running lamps and lower placed headlamps. The car also features a new radiator grille, while a redesigned bumper completes the front look. However, we can expect Renault Kwid facelift to receive a redesigned rear bumper and revised taillight internals.

Mechanically, the existing 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engines will be carried over on the new Renault Kwid. However, both the powertrains will be BS-VI compliant and continue to be offered with a 5-speed manual and AMT options.

11. HONDA NEW CITY

Expected launch date : Dec 2019
Expected price : ₹ 10 lakhs

Presenting the fifth-gen City will be the same set of engine options as the current model. However, these powertrains will be updated to meet the newest emission norms. Also, Honda is working on a petrol-hybrid powertrain which will surely debut with the new City. 

Honda is expected to launch the new Honda City sometime later this year. Once it goes on sale in the international markets, this new City will next make its way to our shores. Prices are expected to remains same as the current model. 

After the launch of new Honda City it has many rivals like  Maruti Ciaz, Toyota Yaris, Volkswagen Vento and the Hyundai Verna.
